Article 13 – The Evil CEO

I am actually kind of worried with what I am about to write. Because it shows how ruthless I could be if I didn’t have morales or my life was in danger.

1 Hour ago I wrote about the things that Google could do to protect itself that would result in the death of the music industry.

I was going to go Lord Business on this and explain what companies could do, not just to adapt, but to take revenge on the old music industry but then two things crossed my mind

  1. Do I want to give Google ideas that could destroy an industry. Even though they have made a terrible mistake, it’s not because of the singers, they will be innocent misguided victims in all this.
  2. If Google is planning something like this then I’d be giving it away.

All I know is this, I went deep into the mind of a corrupt CEO and I came back with a fear of myself; of what I could become. So while I’m not going to release my “Masterplan to kill the music industry”, I have gained an insight into myself so some positives out of this.

But this is only half of the story. Dice can be so unpredictable that they need some form of counter to smooth out the curve

For this exercise I will be only focusing on the Lightbound mechanics as its provides the most options to counter the effects of the dice and to make it interesting.

Design 1 – The Dice Roll

A few weeks back I discussed Dice and Cards and how they vary.

However, I also mentioned that each could be used in a variety of ways or even together. Today I’m going to describe two scenarios which I have designed dice as a fundamental mechanic.

The key thing is that these are the dice isolated from the rest of the mechanics. There are other mechanics that exist but they will be discussed later.
